My intrests are:Japanese everything. It consumes me to the point where my friends and family call me "Blackanese." No I don't go to anime conventions, or do "cos-play." I do like anime, but I also like most any animation, and generally anything funny. My love for things Japanese runs way deeper than that... To the point that some people in Japan say I should have been born there... Wierd isn't it. I also like working on cars, computers, and most anything else mechanical and/or electronic. I also spin from time to time as a DJ; I love music. If there were no more music, I'd surely fade into nothingness. Lastly, I love to write. I use it as a way to leave my impression upon this world. My words make me immortal.African Culture. I know a big part of my ancestry is from the Motherland, and I have a huge interest in that. I love the sound of music and drums especially (which I play. I have many friends from Kenya, Liberia, Senegal, and Ghana. My Kenyan family even named me Kariuki (which probably means "freeloader" in Kikuyu dialict LOL)My Car... Hakosha. Scion xB in Camoflage Green. It's what moves me, and makes you move outta my way on I-285. I work hard, Play harder, and drive it like I stole it. What. Tune or die!The World... We are a planet of differences. We are all the same though, so even though you might speak with a different tounge, or eat different foods, or pray to a different God, we are the same inside. We have the same care for our family, homes, and children. So why can't we love each other and care for each other?
Beat Takeshi. Utada Hikaru. Misia (the Japanese one, although the latin singer my the same name would get met too!) Andrew Jackson, Spike Lee, Mario and Melvin Van Peebles. These are people that I have met, but only in passing. I want to sit down with these people and talk to them... Especially the Japanese ones, because at the time I met them, I couldn't speak Japanese at all...View All Friends | View Blog | Add Comment

Underground Hip-Hop.... Im currently into some cats here from the A called Collective Efforts... ATL TRUE HIP-HOP we ain't just snap-beats, crunk, and club music down here in the ATL, dig?? What you know about Dialated Peoples, MC Doom and DJ Dangermouse. I was listening to Lil' Flip mixtapes when DJ Screw was still alive. UGK, David Banner, Three-6 Mafia, OutKast, Nas, Jay-Z, Eminem... they all had underground tapes. They all had that "sellin my tapes out the back of a 83 Cutlass at the Cheveron Quickie-Mart" phase. And if you listen to their music off those CDs, you'll feel their love of the hustle. I also listen to Japanese hip-hop from groups like Dragon Ash, and Kick the Can Crew to name some. Japanese hip-hop fans are seriously loyal... And they'll tell you when your shit is wack because I swear they even dream in hip-hop over there. I also listen to Jamiroquai, SoulHead, BT, Zap Mama, Utada, Misia, Chara, Hitomi, Bz', and a whole lot more than I could ever fit in this space...
