DJ Silence (Zurich) used to focus on New Wave and psychedelic music of the 70ies and the 90ies.
They know how to present the musical variety in a way to make it highly danceable. They love improvising and interacting with their audience. Club people experience a professional musical round the world trip that takes on varied accoustic shades and grooves and is nonetheless felt to be warmly harmonic.
Variety is the keyword of GaiaSoundsystem. Several ethnic music traditions, in their up-to-date and electronically processed shape, are allowed to mix. Elements of Afro Tribal House, Arab Breakz, Asian Underground, Brazil Drum & Bass, Balkan Beats, Electro Tango, Dub, Future Funk blend into a groovy and unique dancesound experience.

DJ Silence aus der Schweiz hat seine Wurzeln im New Wave und in psychedelischer Musik der 70er und 90er Jahre.
Ihnen ist heute gemeinsam, dass sie musikalisch weltoffen sind und auf elektronisch bearbeitete Global Beatz stehen. Auch dank ihrer unterschiedlichen musikalischen Wurzeln bilden sie zusammen ein unwiderstehliches DJ-Team, sie verstehen es, die enorme musikalische Vielfalt so zu praesentieren, dass es jederzeit aeusserst tanzbar ist. Im Club lassen sie sich dabei immer wieder vom Moment und vom Publikum inspirieren. Das Publikum erlebt eine clubtaugliche musikalische Weltreise, die jedes Mal eine andere akustische Route nimmt, verschiedenste Grooves und Klangwelten sind verbunden und werden als ein stimmiges und fliessendes Ganzes wahrgenommen.
