Sentimentalistic bitches

The band Sentimentalistic bitches was founded 2006 in Villach (Carinthia) by "Sante" (vocals) and "Zakk" (guitar).
After starting as a project and a long-time search to find a drummer (finally they found one named "Chiene"), they started writing their own songs in winter 2006.
In March 2007 "Emi", who was formerly playing at Chienes old band, joined the band as bass player and the lineup was completed.
After a few jam-sessions the good harmony between the bandmembers and the longtime experiences as musicians in different bands turned out as very useful for the songwriting.
The bandmembers are influenced by very different bands mainly from Metal to Rock. So there..s an interesting mix between genres...
...and in the end what stays is nothing more than pain
The band played their first gig on 14.07.2007 @ Kwadra:t in Klagenfurt and another one on 07.09.2007 at the Wolfsrock Festival in St. Michael.
The reaction from the audience was very good which forced them to go ahead to write more songs.
Meanwhile the songs are written, the video to "Social Phobia" is online, and the next step will be the recording of the first cd, as well as many concerts. Promoters can contact us now because of date-agreement.

Die Band Sentimentalistic bitches wurde von "Sante" (Gesang) und "Zakk" (Gitarre) im Jahr 2006 in Villach (Kärnten) gegründet.
Während der ewig dauernden Suche nach einem passenden Schlagzeuger wurden bereits einige Ideen umgesetzt. Im Herbst 2006, als "Chiene" als Schlagzeuger einstieg, konnten die Songs endlich fertig gestellt werden.
Im März 2007 stieg "Emi", der früher in einer Band mit Chiene spielte, als Bassist in die Band ein, und das Lineup war komplett.
Bereits nach wenigen Proben stellte sich die gute Harmonie untereinander als sehr nützlich beim Songwriting heraus, ebenso wie die jahrelangen Banderfahrungen der einzelnen Musiker.
Durch den unterschiedlichen Musikgeschmack der Bandmitglieder (hauptsächlich von Metal bis Rock) gibt es einen sehr guten Mix zwischen den Genres...and in the end what stays is nothing more than pain
Am 14.07.2007 spielte die Band im Kwadra:t in Klagenfurt das erstes Konzert, am 07.09.2007 ein weiteres beim Wolfsrock Festival in St.Michael.
Die positiven Reaktionen vom Publikum waren Ansporn genug sich wieder in den Proberaum zu begeben, um weitere Songs zu schreiben.
Mittlerweile ist eine abwechslungsreiche Setlist fertig gestellt, das Video zu "Social Phobia" online, und neben einer Cd-Aufnahme sind weitere Konzerte geplant! Veranstalter können sich ab sofort wegen Terminabsprache bei uns melden!!!
