The Philosophers Legacy on iTunes now!!

About Me

Founded in summer 2005 under the name SNP by Johannes –JAK- Jakober, Domink –DOM- Sauper, Anton –AMP- Pichler and Manuel –MANGO- Manges. SNP was a band-project which performed renowned rock- and metal songs unplugged. After playing several gigs near their home the infamous `Moelltal`, they recognized in early 2006 that a nationwide bandcontest is going to happen in carinthia. Along the lines of `nothing left to lose` they signed up for the contest, grabbed their electric-guitars and made three songs out of older material from Jak and Dom’s former bands. Three months later and kind of astonished they found themselves in the final round of that bandcontest and they got a lot of positive critiques. During summer 2006 the started working on songs which should get their first studio album. In september 2006 they affirmed that the times has come to record their first album under the working title: `Four Maniacs – One Passion`. Those sessions became their first EP `The Philosophers Legacy`. They re-engineered the whole band-concept and so on january 13th 2007, at the release-party of `The Philosophers Legacy`, SNP, four guys who where more famous for their after-shows as for the actual performance became `APRIACA`, a band with the aim of going beyond the bounds of their country and step into the unjust world of Rock `n Roll.
