I was Born and raised in Hollis Queens, NYC, in a very Jamaican household..My house was sandwiched between Jazz and Soul...to the left I had the Mitchellaires..incredible Jazz musicians and singers, who had jam sessions every night with incredible vocalists... to the right was Jimmy Johnson, the baddest drummer in Queens...His rehearsals featured the slickest vocal groups, working out their routines in his basement. On any given day there was live music going on. My house had my mother's piano and this little girl with a dream. ... I Have worked and/or toured with..Glenn Jones, Tears For Fears, Oleta Adams, Debra Harry, Cyndi Lauper, Jennifer Holliday, Billy Joel, Michael Bolton, Asha Puthli, Eric Gadd, Diana Ross, Martha Wash, Sandra Berhardt's off broadway play "Without You I am Nothing", Robert Wilson's 'Medea', as a singer and featured dancer, John Waters, Mic Murphy, Lil louis Vega, Me'shell N'degeocello, Caron Wheeler, Sandra St. Victor, Marlon Saunders and Mood Control, Kelli Sae and Degrees Of Motion. I have written songs for daytime soap operas "All my Children", and "One Life To Live", have been featured on numerous commercial jingles including Sprite's "Obey Your thirst", 'Colgate', 'Old Spice', 'Promise Margerine', 'Macy's',' Huggies', 'AT&T', and 'Nutrament'...Also sang the theme song for the DJ Kat show on Fox for 2 seasons.. I have also appeared on The David letterman Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, The Rosie O'Donnell Show, The Arsenio Hall Show, Soul Train, B.E.T., M.T.V., The Jon Stewart Show, Saturday Night Live and New York Undercover. O.K., I am out of breath....And I am blessed.
