Born & raised in Philadelphia,PA July 2, 1981 Andre'Saimir-Adin Lafontaine was destined to be deeply involved in music. Son of legendary R&B/Soul singer Dean A Morrow Sr. (formerly of "The Soul Brothers LTD" and current member of "The Phyllies Intruders"), he was constantly surrounded by the melodic sounds of soul,jazz,and funk. At the age of 8 Saimir began playing the piano under the teachings of his father's keyboard player Mr.Alfie Pollitt. It wasn't long before he started playing professionally with his father on the road. Feeling like something was missing from the equation; the band's bass guitar player Jimmy Townes introduced Saimir to his younger brother Jeffrey Townes aka "The Magnificent DJ Jazzy Jeff". Alchemy from the start ironicly 15 years apart, but on the same forcast. With the combination of the keys & the turntables he made a sound of his own raising many heads of generatons before & after him. A perfect blend of within the "A Touch Of Jazz" family. From that point on the rest is history later working with such artist as Bahamadia,Mad Skillz,Marsha Ambrosius of Floetry,Dice Raw of The Legendary Roots Crew,and Raheem Devaughn to name a few. He's currently the youngest member of the Soulquarians & CEO/Founder of Darkstreets Ent. doing production worldwide.
