Sister Moon came up in may of 1998. Their only and unfading goal is to bring back to life the ways and sound from an extinct age, taking as reference the most classic Heavy Metal and Hard Rock foundations, the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, as well as details from more contemporary elements within the genre, avoiding prejudices or limitations in their own developing as a band. Is in 2003 when Sister Moon solidifies a permanent line up, then securing their primary aim and boosting their expansion into the national and international underground. In 2006 the band decides to risk their first album recording, the same that we offer here, absolutely self-financed and self-produced, recorded entirely in their own studio and finally mixed and mastered at Treboada Studio (A Coruña, Spain) by Paco Liaño in 2007. In this first work Sister Moon shows eight tracks where the band reflects their most classic and basic roots in metal music, in a common setting where the best known bands from the eighties, as well as more obscure and less known names are an endless clue in the band's members memory. Sister Moon is currently working in the recordings of their second album, adding old school Doom and Thrash Metal details to band's sound, in their ultimate intention of obscure and traditional Heavy Metal performance.
