Do you really think we're just a bunch of kids who are trying to play fancy Rock&Roll?:
History:
It all started in early September 2005 and after some ups and downs -we were 4 at the very begenning- we finally found our feet.
Back then, we weren't really listening to the music we like now, but we played with the same kind of energy. We just didn't know it. A few months later, we set up at the same old club called "The Dum Dum Bar" (the new one in town is called "the Purple" and Chris Bailley played there last week!) and after a rehearsal the boss said: "Kids, you really have to play next weekend!"
From a guy like him, that kind of compliment doesn't come often or sound like a piece of advice, so we were amazed he liked us enough to give us a few gigs in his club!
Then, after other concerts around town, we decided to move on and play abroad. We have some good friends and some big fans in Spain. We spent 10 days there and played 2 concerts near Andalousia. There the audiences blew us away! There is a real knowledge and culture about Garage bands in Spain that you can hardly find in France...
When we came back, the journey had changed us--particularly in the way we see our music. Antoine wrote more songs and the band has since played twice in Lapéniche.
Current stuff :
Now, we're just crazy about Garage music. Antoine is still listening to old stuff like Shadows of Knight, MC5, DMZ, The Monks, The Sonics, all the Nuggets compilations, The Amboy Dukes, Maye listens to current stuff like Desert Sessions, Queens of the Stone Age and Kyuss, Mat is fond of Danko Jones and we are all crazy about Tokyo Sex Destruction, The 5, 6, 7, 8's, The Defectors, The Staggers...
Instruments, place...:
We play on Telecaster Deluxe, Gibson SG, SquierJazzBass, Pearl Export, Fender HotRod...And we built a special room during one whole year called “Le Press’Soir†where there are concerts sometimes...
