About Me

I'm a senior at Gardner-Edgerton High School and I've been playing guitar for over 10 years. I began playing live and in bars at a young age of only 13 years old. It's a blast! I'm playing all over Kansas City now with many numerous bands. The first band is the BB Miller Band. We're a mostly original blues-rock band. BB Miller Band is an exploration into the blues spectrum. We are in the midst of creating and writing for their debut in early 2008. We invite you to experience a truly explosive celebration of music. I'm also in a band called the Rehabaneros, a classic rock and blues band that is starting to play quite often. I am also a part of the Jerry's Jam Night All-Star Band. All of the musicians that play at Jerry's Bait Shop are amazingly talented and I would like to thank everyone that I have played with. Being a part of the Jerry's Jam Night All-Star Band, I have had the opportunity to play in the V.I.P tent for the Def Leppard/Journey concert and Aerosmith/Motley Crue concert. I recently played the with them and got to open up for Eddie Money at the Uptown Theater. Before and in between acts, I got to hang out with Eddie, his son Zack, and the band. It was the coolest thing ever. I'm now playing the role of one of my childhood heros, Ace Frehley, in a KISS tribute band, "Almost KISS". Besides loud rock 'n' roll music, I am the drum major of the marching band at Gardner-Edgerton High School, play trombone at Gardner-Edgerton High School, play upright string bass in the Jazz Band, and play guitar in the Blue Blazers choir. I just love to watch and listen to live music around Kansas City.

Brandon Miller has been popular in the Kansas City area now for several years. It's only been "several" years due to the fact that he is just 17 years old! He has already played with a number of bands in the area...Almost Kiss, The ReHabaneros, and Static 210 (a band he formed early in high school). Brandon has been playing guitar since he was 7 and if you have seen him play, you'll know why he draws the crowd he does. He is one of the best guitarists in Kansas City.
Bret Boulé is a bass player and has been one of Kansas City's hottest commodities for this trade. He has played in a number of bands....Shiver (all original), Poster Child, Voodoo Kitchin (which has won a number of awards in the KC area including Banzaii's Best Cover Band and 99.7 KY's Best All Originals Band, etc). Bret is also one of the hosts for the hottest rock jam in Kansas City, Jerry's Jam Night at Jerry's Bait Shop in Lenexa every Wednesday night and in Lee's Summit every Thursday.
John Goolsby has been called the best vocalist in Kansas City by many respected in the trade. With his work both as a solo artist and with Johnny 5 and the Freeloaders, he performs quite regularly with a soulful blues style. He is currently working on a solo EP and is sponsored by Vintage Vantage. He has taken first place in the MWSU Talent Show for two years in a row.

The Mole has been referred to by the natives here in Kansas City as "the best frontman/vocalist in the area." He has been involved in a number of bands and projects. ...Billygoat Pornstar, Goodnight Nobody, and his most recent addition this past summer is 90 Minutes. 90 Minutes is one of the top cover bands in Kansas City. Check em out!! Mole has also been known to make guest appearances with the Stolen Winnebagos. When it comes to beltin' the notes out...there is no match to The Mole.
Captain Craig is a drummer who is currently working and living in Hollywood California. He is native to Kansas City and has worked with bands such as Moaning Lisa, Black Molly's and Drew 6. He has just recently finished a West Coast tour with Noah Sugarman and Marianne Keith. Craig is one of the best drummers to come out of Kansas City and is making it BIG right now in L.A...We are beyond fortunate to have him in Captain Mole and the Sea Flats.
