Combining the stomping delta blues with a minimalist garage mindset, the Free Police are able to make a unique brand of blues rock and roll. Influenced as much by Son House as the Stooges, the Free Police combine elements of garage rock with blues. With the moans and vocals of Morgan Hensley, combined with his crackling fuzz laid over guitar riffs, the foundation of the Free Police is created. What holds the music intact and gives it a swagger is the remarkable percussion from Mac Malone's obvious drumming talent and older brother Dan's bass virtuosity.
