Kansas City Performing Guitarist and Teacher

About Me

It's pretty amazing how much a person's life can change almost overnight. May 2005 I was finishing up college and thinking about finding a good desk job with a nice salary and some benefits, all the while hoping that something would fall into my lap enabling me to do music full-time.
There was a problem with that plan though. I was denying who I really was, a bleeding heart artist and musician. It showed too, I couldn't hold down a single desk job for more than a few months. Why? I'm glad you asked.
BECAUSE I WANTED TO FREAKING ROCK!!!
Now it's 2007 and the Kansas City music scene has embraced me and my beautiful green guitar with open arms. I have the pleasure of playing with some of the most incredible musicians this city has to offer, and I get to spend my afternoons spreading the joy of music to others through private guitar lessons.
I am currently working with three amazing bands:
Ross Christopher & the Familiar Voice
90 Minutes
Goodnight Nobody
I also occasionally perform solo guitar concerts where I use a loop station for accompaniment. In 2004 I released my first solo album "Backbeat". It's always been a dream of mine to release an instrumental album like many of my heroes.
On June 3, 2007 I had the pleasure of helping lead 1683 rockers to break the Guinness Book of World Records for the most guitar players playing at once. It was a great honor to a be a part of the 99.7 KY House Band for this event. Check out the video, that's my goofy mug on the left side of the band. Check out the sea of guitar players!!! ROCK ON!
If you have any questions about guitar lessons, booking, or just want to give me a shout . . . please drop me a line. I would love to hear from you. p
