Guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Dave Brunyak pursues sonic euphoria in
every engagement. His music demonstrates a blend of songwriting prowess in
all styles with inventive improvisation on his instrument. He communicates
with his audience through simple lyrical messages combined with brilliant
musical imagery, uniting in an amalgamate of sound, light, and emotion. In
essence, Dave's goal is to foster an out of body experience through music.

CAREER
Dave has performed for audiences across the nation, having been billed with
nationally touring artists such as JAMES BROWN, THE ALLMAN BROTHERS BAND,
MAX CREEK, and STRANGEFOLK. Former lead guitarist for the New England-based
jam band "OAK STREET" since 1998, Dave has recently joined forces with
guitar monster MATT McDANIEL (HINT OF LIME) to form "HUMBLEBEE," the newest
and hottest jam/rock act to arrive on the scene. HUMBLEBEE recently
performed at Wormtown's 8th Annual Music Festival and can be seen in venues
near you this winter/spring.
Dave can occasionally be seen performing regionally with national touring artists ENTRAIN. Dave often showcases his acoustic chops in support of dynamic singer/songwriter CHRIS ROSS. Additionally, Dave can be seen performing solo in the Boston/Worcester areas.
EDUCATION
Dave graduated in 2007 from Berklee College of Music (Boston) with a degree
in Professional Music (Songwriting/Music Education). He has received
instruction from several renound guitar professors, including GARY BACKSTROM,
JOHN WILKINS, JULIEN KASPER, JIM PETERSON, and BRUCE BARTLETT. Dave plans to
achieve a Master's Degree in Education in 2009. Dave finished Berklee with
3.8 GPA.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Since 2001, Dave has been administering private guitar lessons to students
of all ages and abilities. He is currently offering in-home group or
