The High Rise

NEW TRACKS!!!

About Me

In the fall of 2006, The High Rise rose out of the rat-infested basements of Allston, MA and into the Boston live music scene with a well-informed and boldly inventive musical fingerprint. Throughout the past year, this Berklee College of Music/ Boston University quintet has been able to hone their craft by consistently holding down weekly residencies at various Boston bars.
Show after show, a loyal following of fans and friends evolved, anxious to hear the unveiling of a fresh original song or what new cover the band was going to play next. A unique mix of funk, drum n bass, blues, electronica, jazz, reggae, classic and progressive rock, the group offers a sound that just about any audience can appreciate.
A year, approximately 45 shows, and 2 festivals later, The High Rise continues to stretch musical boundaries and infect the crowds with dance-inducing grooves. RISE UP.....
