FW Adria is the latest company to join the international community of Fading Ways labels. Fading Ways' history spans back to 1996 with Neil Leyton's art-rock glam-godfathers The Conscience Pilate, for whom Leyton set up the original Fading Ways Music Publising. The label was created two years later as an expansion of Leyton's music publishing activities, and became incorporated as Fading Ways Records Ltd. in Canada in 2001. Fading Ways UK was formed in 2004 in partnership with Ashlyn Eaton, and in 2006 Mikko Jokela, who was FW's street-team leader for Finland, escalated his activity into FW Finland. 2007 sees the rise of two new FW labels: FW Portugal, run by Rafael Reis, and FW Adria, run by Izak Kosir.FW Adria aims to futher represent the distribution, licensing and representation of select members of the FW roster for the Adriatic countries, as well as seeking local talent to release via the new FW Artist Collective community that is marketed via the www.fwmusicstore.co.uk UK-based independent store. Presently, FW Adria is working with the following roster of artists: Turku Romantic Movement, Neil Leyton, and Red Orkestra.
