Ankh Sothis

ITALIANO. Ankh Sothis è un progetto musicale-artistico creato da Gabriele Bertani, ma aperto a collaborazioni occasionali con altri musicisti o artisti in generale. Il progetto è in vita da alcuni anni e si propone di operare non solo attraverso la musica, che resta comunque la colonna portante, ma anche con altre forme d'arte visiva, recitativa o di movimento, integrandole tra loro. Ankh Sothis ha creato fino ad ora una ventina di brani musicali autoprodotti ed un concerto-performance in collaborazione con una danzatrice. Le influenze musicali-artistiche spaziano dalle correnti più radicali del rock a quelle della sperimentazione e della ricerca senza confini, cercando di creare ambientazioni sonore inusuali e svariate senza riferimenti precisi a stili o generi specifici, ma che possono richiamare talvolta sonorità post-rock, ambient, industrial, gothic e altro. Per il momento Ankh Sothis non ha ancora prodotto CD 'ufficiali' veri e propri, escludendo un CD demo autoprodotto, ma si ripromette di farlo. Ankh Sothis is a musical-artistic project, created by Gabriele Bertani but opened to collaborations with other musicians or artists in general. The project was launched a few years ago, and its purpose is to work not only through music, which remains the main structure anyway, but also through other kinds of visual, acting or performing arts, integrating them together. Until today, Ankh Sothis has created more than 20 self-produced songs and a performance live show with the collaboration of a dancer. The musical and artistic influences range from extreme rock to the experimental research with no limits, trying to create unusual and various sound environments with no precise references to specifical styles, but which sometimes can recall post-rock, ambient, industrial, gothic and other known environments. For now Ankh Sothis has not produced 'official' CDs yet, excluding a self-produced demo CD, but this will be its next goal.
