Once long ago, two young guys from Cape Town decided to take over the world. However since only one of them was a reputable martial artist and neither had any actual combat experience they decided to fall back on their actual abilities, among which included the ability to make really fat bass and crazy electronic beats. So, armed with these skills, they set out on their quest to create the ultimate in groovy, glitchy, fat and sexy music with which to seduce all mankind. And thus was born: The Tone Deaf Junkies.
Through 10 years of collective hammering and with various releases under their belts. Their ears have been made deaf to the frequency of genre. Having amassed a great many influences, their sound has become somewhat unique: from the deep, sexy, slow-but-tuff groove of tracks like “Fred is Deadâ€, to soft elegant compositions like “Fallingâ€, to pure, energy driven, electronic, dancefloor destroyers such as “I like to Partyâ€, and last but not least a pioneering brand of tech-kwaito they like to affectionately call: Kwaitech.
So beware fellow earthlings, for the inescapable groove and sexy mind-bending bass of their music and their electro-fying live-act may well soon infiltrate your ears, and then nothing more will ever be the same.
