The Dank Mr Wilson

The Dank Mr. Wilson is a collaboration of two of South Africa's freshest producers/Dj's/Musicians working together to produce quality music that combines the warmth and fullness of real instruments and vocals with the rawness of electronica and DJing elements. The two elements are "The Dank" - Ross Finck, and "Mr.Wilson" - Simon Wilson. We boast a huge range in music, bridging such genres as "Big Band", "Blue's", "Electonica", "Hip-Hop" and "Funk" to name a few. Accompanied by intellectual writers/MC's such as "The Baker Man", "MS DOS", and "Mr.Wilson (Rebel Clef)", we get an important message across to the listener over beats that will make you feel uncontrollably excited.We are currently finalising our very first album together: "Shaping Plastic", which is guaranteed to shake the foundations of South African music, and destined to spread rapidly across the planet.
