VOLUNTEERS AND PARTICIPANTS!!!
So how can YOU participate?! After all, Scorched Nuts is not a Spectator event. The festival is what we, as a community, make it. So get creative and contribute in any way you can!! It can be as elaborate as a theme camp, performance, or art piece -OR- as simple as staying a couple hours to help Earth guardians clean up. Without you Scorched Nuts does not happen! So check out some of these awesome things you can do to help make Scorched Nuts 2007 one to remember!!
Theme Camps
Theme camps are the heart of our community! So come up with a concept, get your friends together and make it a reality! It can be fun, educational, or just plan weird!

Events/Classes
Plan an event it can be a themed party or you can see how many people you can get to do something wierd or whatever you can come up with. Do you have a special skill teach a class.

Performance Art
Performance groups of all kinds and skill levels are welcome. Register your performance to recieve a time slot on either our indoor stage, outdoor stage or in the inner circle(where our man will be). Any performances involving fire must be performed outdoors.

Art Work
Art of any kind is welcome 2-d, 3-d, 4-d!. If you want a reserved place for you art please register it. If you wish to burn your art you must do so in the inner circle, and your must state you plan to burn your art when you register your art so accomidations can be made.

Music/Bands/DJ's
Without music there is no soul to the festival, so please volunteer your performance, we except music of all kinds. Since this is our first year and I am not certain that we will be able to fill all time slots with live music, there will be a drop box at the gate when you enter. You may drop your burnt CD's into this box these CD's will be choosen at random and played to fill in the gaps. CD's will not be returned so please be sure it is a burned copy.

Organizers/Volunteers
We need you! This is our first year and without dedicated volunteers we will never get off the ground! All volunteers get a free t-shirt, so please specify your t-shirt size or you don’t get one!! We also have some organizer positions still available. Organizer will not only recieve free admission but also an additional free ticket per 100 tickets sold. (That means if we sell 300 tickets, you would get 3 additional free tickets, etc). Plus you'll recieve a free t-shirt as well, along with a walkie-talkie to use while you are at the event! Oh and dont forget about bragging rights! *Organizers will have to sign a contract in order to receive their free ticket(s).

Music:
Are you a musician? In a band? Want to perform at this year's Scorched Nuts?! Register to volunteer your time and talent to rock out at our second annual Regional Burn by clicking here !! You won't be paid off with money from your performance, but you'll be more than paid off by the great exposure, amazing new friends you'll meet, and the great time you'll have!! So come out and jam with us!
Movies:
ATTENTION FIRE PERFORMERS!
We're looking for trained fire performers to participate in the fire-conclave (the pre-burn before that burn of the 'man')!! Poi, fans, staff, hula-hoop, fingers...whatever your tool of choice is, bring it out and show it off!! We're also looking for performance groups that would be interested in doing a choreographed piece before the pre-burn!! If you're interested in participating, email us at [email protected]!!
