MY REVIEW:
We stopped there Feb. 24 because it was the first place we saw (limited time while doing a faux-painting job). Wow - we are so glad we DID stop! Gumbo was excellent (I added hot sauce) - jam-packed with sausage, chicken and shrimp, and the serving was generous. Spouse had a burger basket - HUGE portions. We could not eat it all. Also stopped the following Saturday (still painting) and again we were not disappointed. Wish we lived closer to try it again. I would recommend it to all. Staff is friendly and service was prompt. Very clean and appealing interior. I would like to try their catering, too.NAME: jessica

MY REVIEW:
Off to a very strong start. My wife and I alway try something new every time we go here. Everything is great, very good prices, and the staff is so friendly. Quite simply the best place to be if you want "comfort" food!

MY REVIEW:
I called in my first order and it certainly won't be my last. The restaurant is very clean, comfortable and accommodating. Although I arrived after closing to pick-up, Michelle welcomed us with a most-personable and friendly demeanor. I had a chance to view the catering portfolio and it is IMPRESSIVE! Everything I tasted (and we ordered about five things ranging from the cheeseburger to the gumbo) was excellent. The final test, the peach cobbler, sealed the deal!! Go visit Main Street and see for yourself. I definitely look forward to returning and dining in with my friends and family.

MY REVIEW:
Very nice staff. Food was very good. Very good gumbo, although I won't say it's the best I've had; it was definately 8 out of 10.
I will give a 10 for the carrot cake I had. It was dee-licious.

MY REVIEW:
Dinner and service was terrific! Very friendly staff. The peach cobbler and BLT was delicious and my husband enjoyed the bacon cheese burger and fries! We recommend everyone go and try the food.

MY REVIEW:
To begin there are no weak points. All the food they sell is great, the service is very pleasant and enough to keep you coming back for more. It is a very clean place. They are not shy about the food amounts, you will walk out of there full wanting a nap, it is excellent. I would recommend anybody who likes good food to eat here!

MY REVIEW:
Located where E*den's Deli used to be on the far West side of Houston off Westheimer, I was skeptical at first. Boy, am I glad I stopped by anyway!
This was *the best* short-order grill I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot). I had the double cheeseburger, and my wife had the hamburger and a side of seafood soup. The burgers were cooked to absolute perfection, all fresh ingredients. Wait staff and cooks were friendly, and it felt like I was at a small-town diner instead of hustling, bustling Houston! Prices are on-par with grill places such as C*hili's or F*uddruckers. I would rate the food here much better than either of those.
I'm Cajun, so eating is my life! I would recommend Main Street Grill to anyone and everyone. I would even suggest driving out of your way just to stop by. Yes, it is *that* good!

MY REVIEW:
My husband says they have the best gumbo ever! I have ordered the tilapia, grilled chicken sandwich, cob salad, and the Santa Fe grilled chicken. All were great. The cob salad is huge. The Santa Fe grilled chicken is really good. I have had that one 3 times. And definitely order the Bourbon baked beans on the side.

MY REVIEW:
Been there twice.
First visit
Gumbo - very good - crab (in the shell), shrimp, sausage & NO Okra (my preference)
Hamburger - good beef, char-grilled (nice char flavor), fresh soft bun
Peach Cobbler - excellent crust. That what makes a cobbler IMHO
Second visit
Chopped BBQ sandwich - smokey flavor and good sauce. Next time I won't hesitate to order the sliced beef since it is so tender.
More peach cobbler - This time I picked the bowl with the most crust.
Yes, there will be more visits since I noticed other things on the menu I must try.
