Shea Van Winkle
Shea Van Winkle is the divine creation of singer/songwriter, and jack of all instruments, Wil Van Winkle, and singer/percussionist Brit Shea of Houston TX. The band has developed into the pleasing project over the years. The idea began with Wil, traveling and performing around the world. Playing for both the American and German Embassies in the former USSR, Intercontinental, Sheridan, and Hilton Hotels, The Association of Tennis Players, and was to be the first American performer in Afghanistan until bombs were dropped. The Collaboration with Brit Shea has only improved the music and performance scale. Beginning as a dancer and actress, found a great strength in singing, certified with AMDA NY, NY, studying under various musical geniuses. The Band is climbing new heights everyday. They have toured through out Germany and have been approached to complete a full European Tour. Aside from inner Texas performances, the Group has voyaged a 17 State Triangular Tour beginning in Houston, up through Iowa, across to New Jersey and diagonally back through to Houston again. Though the band has been in the works for over a decade, this chapter is only beginning and grows stronger everyday with an International Fan Base, and top notch support .
