A Simpleton. Like ma booze and me heavy metal, dae a wee bit o judo. I am cooncil scum n merely work to afford gig tickets, judo sessions and me alcohol. I also rant from time to time.
Speaking of rants I would like to express my enragement at unsigned Glasgow bands and the "scene" in general. For a start there are WAY more promoters than actual bands (either that or they keep changing their names). Secondly bands don't support each other so why should I, a guy wae a chipped 360, go out during the week to watch half these bands when they can't even convince members of other bands and even worse their close friends to go watch them? Also a wee note to every "new band" under the sun you are not the best band in the world deal wae it! Also why have local gigs skyrocketed in price? £7 to watch Achren (the album's no even fucking oot yet), wit the fuck?
Another thing we've got to get rid of is Metalcore or just skinny men in general. We should add a rule as part of this new thrash "boom" that men must weigh at least 13 stone.
Also why don't promoters book the 13th Note and the Spirit bar more often, it's cheaper to run a gig there for a start and the booze is either cheaper (Spirit) or of better quality (Note)
In closing if your in a local metal band and you dont show up to any of the last 5 local gigs just split up, if you can't be arsed to go watch anyone else why should they pay tae see you?
