Sonaya was created through musical collaboration of brother and sister Jacobo & Paola Marcus-Carranza. Most songs are original & are written and arranged by Jacobo & Paola. Songs reflect peace, unity, struggle, resistance, and upliftment of the people. We collaborate with many talented musicians who inspire us and make up the People's Crew. We play venues that support and benefit communities and Peoples movements to protect Mother Earth & her peoples, the youth, art, culture, and resistance to corporate domination.
