Georgie has been singing for as long as he can remember, from various school plays to performing at the National
Eisteddfod of Wales, the largest festival of competitive music and poetry in Europe. Music is a large part of his life.
He was the first male vocalist to join the Billericay School's 70 piece Studio Orchestra and went on to perform with
them at the opening of Euro Disney, on the UK TV programme 'Blue Peter', at the Brentwood Centre and for a tour
of Holland and Poland to riase money for various charities. Being a member of the orchestra gave Georgie a taste of
what he’d always wanted, to perform and sing to people.
Georgie then began singing at talent nights and charity concerts including three times at the London Palladium and for the
first Roy Castle 'Cause For Hope' Charity concert. During an appearance supporting Bradley Walsh, he was spotted by
music industry writer Jim Doyle, who had worked with Sting and Elton John. Jim soon had Georgie writing with tunesmiths
from EMI and Peer Music.
Georgie then started buying 'The Stage', the UK newspaper for the performing arts industry, and began auditioning. Out of his first five auditions, he was offered four of them and was over the moon. At 21, Georgie signed a recording contract with Reverb Music/XL Talent and East West Records/Warner Bros as the lead singer of an 80's cover trio called "Shiny Happy People".
In Georgie' own words, "I really hope you all like my music. The songs mean a lot to me because so much of my life and experiences are inside the words. I hope after listening to them you can relate to the lyrics, which I’m sure you will,
because we all go through a lot of the same experiences. The good times, the GREAT times but also the heartache and crap through life that we all wish we could live without but without them the good times wouldn’t mean half as much.
Thanks for listening and reading this. It means a lot.
All the best,
Georgie"
