stillmotionstudios got the green light from the World Cafe Live in 2005 to shoot a feature length documentary on Philly Rising, an Open Stage competition hosted by the Magnificent Bruce Torres. One year and hundreds of acts later the film is in post-production and due to be released in the summer of 2007.World Cafe Live is located at 3025 Walnut Street in Philadelphia, and the Open Stage is open to the public every Monday night starting at 6:30PM.
