As a young boy I discovered my love for music. I was inspired in many ways over the years. At the very beginning I started attending church with my mother. She sung in the choir, seeing here there singing with the choir was my very first inspiration. I remember spending hours in my small room in southwest Philly. It became a studio for me a place for me to hone my skills. My studio consists of a dual cassette deck radio, and a microphone. I began developing an ear for music.I started studying other artist, and how they performed their songs. I studied the vocal style of groups such as the Jackson Five, Boys To Men, New Addition, and Jodeci just to name a few of the inspirational influences I had. Their style, the way they performed their lyrics, and more importantly they where hot. This is also around the time I began to discover my heartfelt passion for music, in writing lyrics for my own songs. Once I achieved the ability to sing as well as the artist who influenced me I had the confidence to start seeking members for my own singing group. Through the years there where times when I had thought that I bonded with people that shared the same passion for music as I did. I had tried several times to put together a hot group I had some success but other obligations always got in the way for other members. The first group that I put together consisted of three others, and my self. We called the group Harmony For You. We started performing by entering talent shows held by the channel 12 television station WPBI. We moved up to then third level of competition. We also performed shows for the cities recreation centers. Although the other members drifted away I kept pressing on always keeping my chin up because music is my life. I will not allow anything to stand in the way of my hopes, my goals, and my dreams. My destiny to become a legacy in the music industry. I always stay motivated, and my determination is the driving force that keeps me going on this journey. I began working with some Hip-Hop artist still seeking to form a group we called our self Split Image. We performed various venues in Pa., and Nj. Building a good reputation as solid performers who could bring the house down. We performed for the city of Philadelphia. We also performed at clubs such as Downing Place, Huston Hall, and also performed on Television at channel 48, Also for the television show Urban Expressions, and The Word On The Street. I am sorry to say that the group split. This is when I made the decision to go solo.Once I became a solo artist I began doing performances again. I performed at the Delaware county fair, and also for the Township of Darby Pennsylvania. I also performed as a solo artist on the television shows that I had performed at previously. I performed for the city again, and also di the Stop The Violence tour. I have also done several other television shows including Jenny Blackwell. I have been on the word radio, WDAS radio, and at WNJC in front of a live studio audience of nearly 1000 fans. You can hear my music on radio throughout the US, and several other countries worldwide.I feel that I can bring very much to the table, and I am confident that I can pack a house. Help to build, and retain your customer base while building my fan base. Also help the crowd to grow, and the drinks to flow by keeping them moving, and grooving on the dance floor. I am signed to RPMJ Publishing, and Gargoyle Recording Studios. I am being distributed through Sony, and I-Tunes. I am here to stay, and go all the way!Cozy MoeThis is Cozy Moe here.
