Most of my training is in photojournalism, as you can see by reviewing the information in my resume. That training, however, has given me a unique perspective . . . something I feel is carried through to my images. Models that have worked with me would likely tell you that I am one of the more relaxed photographers they have worked with.
Rather than laying out an extremely structured shoot, I would rather get the major details like location, time and style for the shoot set in stone. From there, I prefer to just show up on location and let things take their natural direction. I hate shots that look posed . . . something I guess I brought along with me from my work in journalism.
I have worked with models that have had a wide range of experience and styles. All of the work I have done with models until now has either been portfolio work or for fine art projects. Because of this, I generally have the flexibility to adjust to the model and the atmosphere to produce natural images that present the model's best attributes while minimizing any flaws.
I'm open to any suggesions or ideas, willing to negotiate shoots on a TFP basis with select models, and ALWAYS looking for models to work with on my fine art nude projects. Please, don't hesitate to ask any questions.
