ON APRIL 5, 2006 I WAS PROMOTED TO THE RANK OF WIFE.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Joseph.
My husband means the world to me. He is my sunshine.
I love Joesapee with ALL of my heart and soul.
My husband is everything I ever wanted and so much more.
We have been together since the 10th grade.
I have known my husband for 11+ years.
My life is perfect and I wouldn't change anything in it.
Joe is a SERGEANT in the United States Marine Corps.
I am VERY proud of my husband.
He picked up Sergeant at 2 1/2 years.
Most men don't pick up until their second enlistment.
He has been in for 4 years in August.
Every one of his promotions has been meritorious!
As you can see, my husband is one amazing Marine!

My hero is deployed to Iraq for 14 MONTHS.
He is with an RCT, which is why it is 14 months rather than 7.
He extended his enlistment to deploy full term.
Otherwise he would have been home after 6 months of the deployment.
No, I'm not upset that he extended, I'm PROUD.
We were lucky to have almost 2 years of marriage without a deployment.
He was supposed be home in October for 2 weeks of R&R,
But now he will be home in June!
We are taking our honeymoon to Disneyworld while he's home!
I LOVE LONG DISTANCE MOVIES WITH MY HUSBAND
AND HUGS FROM THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WORLD.
NOTHING CAN COMPARE!

ATTENTION:
Apparently I am supposed to complain about my husband being gone.
I am supposed to cry and whine to everyone I come in contact with.
I am supposed to be like every other wife out there.
However, I have more respect for my husband than that.
YES, he is gone for 14 months. YES, that is a long time.
YES, I know that normal Marine Corps deployments are 7-9 months.
You just have to make the best of every day and count your blessings.
I am so proud of him and what he is doing for our country.
Crying won't bring him home any faster.
If he's not worried about me he can stay focused on doing his job.
I HATE getting emails asking if I'm alright, so STOP.
I'm FINE. I was fine yesterday and I'm fine today, thanks for asking.
He's gone and I dealt with it because that is what adults do.
DEPLOYMENT ISN'T AS HARD AS EVERYONE MAKES IT SEEM!!!
I grew up in the military, so I'm used to my loved ones being gone.
IT ISN'T THE END OF THE WORLD, GET OVER IT!.
Boot camp separates the weak recruits from the strong Marines.
Deployment separates the weak girls from the strong wives!
We are head over heels in love and that's enough for me.
I'm happy.
