I love the movies from Tom Tykwers hand such as "Run Lola Run" and "The Warrior and the Empress". Tykwer also directed the probably better known "Perfume - The Story of a Murderer"(2006). Great movies from Wim Wenders - how about "Million Dollar Hotel"! Roman Polanski, "Bitter Moon" - fabulous! Terry Gilliam - "Brazil" - all time favorite!!! and also his "Fisher King"! Dominic Sena and his "Kalifornia" Ohh - and how could I almost forget Baz Luhrmann and his "Moulin Rouge" and and the amazing "Strictly Ballroom". Other great directors are - Krzysztof Kieslowski, Tim Burton, James Cameron, Alan Parker, Ridley Scott and I probably forgot a few others! :D I pretty much like any movie with Johnny Depp, Gary Oldman, Sean Penn, Denzel Washington, Emma Burton, Anthony Hopkins, Brad Pitt, Juliette Lewis...and many more...
???????
I´ve allways loved a good story. Never think I´ve got time enough though, but this year so far: "The Iceprincess" by Camilla Läckberg, "Gömda" by Liza Marklund(I´ll never read it again..) and "Daughter of Fortune" by Isabel Allende, and "Eva Luna" also by Allende. Amongst my all time favorites are: "A Man" by Oriana Fallaci, "Beloved" by Toni Morrison, the authorship of Poul Hoffmann(Denmark)especially his Moses-triology, Ester-triology, "Mary´s Song" and "Jeanette". I adore "Dandelion Wine" by Ray Bradbury and his "Martian Chronicles" not to mention "Tales of the Jazz Age" and "Diamond as Big as the Ritz" by F. Scott Fitzgerald, "Steppenwolf" by Herman Hesse and I could go on...
First and foremost Jesus Christ my best friend, Lord and Savior!! I guess he doesn´t need further introduction! ;0))) Aaaaand...this woman!!! Oriana Fallaci, Italian journalist - for her commitment, passion and fearlessness in journalism - not to mention her infamous interviewing technique: "Before the powerful politicians realized that they were fighting under unequal conditions - they were already on the floor of the ring, KO'ed." - writes Milan Kundera in his book "Immortality" and calls her "the pioneer of modern journalism". Also said to be the only woman Henry Kissinger was afraid of...stripped truth down to its naked bone and reduced the self-important, famous and powerful to human scale!INTERVIEW:
