Simone Stefanini

Born in Bologna, Italy, I’m an electric and acoustic guitarist who plays in different projects, from rock pop with my band Novevite, to Red Hot Chili Peppers Funky Monks tribute band and even Latin jazz and blues in acoustic situations. I first studied guitar and music theory at the Lizard modern music school in Florence many years ago and then I continued to study with famous session player Giacomo Castellano as well as trying to develop my style on my own, and over the last few years I’ve been teaching too. I have attended seminars and workshops with many international musicians including Greg Koch, Frank Gambale, Paul Gilbert, Kiko Loureiro,Antonio Forcione,Giacomo Castellano, Massimo Varini and others. I’m currently producing my band and a Latin pop project called Mente Mentirosa, as well as productions with my friend and pianist Max Paparella. I really love music and am fascinated by music production and arrangement. I always try to come up with guitar parts suitable for the song I’m working on. I’m available for arrangement and production work, and as a session guitarist for different projects.--------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------ -----------------------------------------Sono un chitarrista elettrico e acustico e suono in diversi progetti inediti Rock pop (Novevite), soul pop (Patty Erario), e progetti di cover (tribute band Red Hot Chili Peppers(Funky Monks), tribute band Jamiroquai(Funk Odissey), e situazioni acustiche latin in duo e trio).Ho studiato chitarra e teoria armonia all’ Accademia di musica moderna Lizard a Firenze e con Giacomo Castellano, insegno da alcuni anni. Ho frequentato clinics di chitarristi quali Greg Koch, Frank Gambale, Paul Gilbert, Kiko Loureiro,Antonio Forcione,Giacomo Castellano, Massimo Varini, e molti altri. Attualmente lavoro anche come produttore e arrangiatore per alcuni progetti tra I quali il progetto Mente Mentirosa dell’autore Sante Galli, Novevite e Violet Blue, e anche in co-produzioni con il grande pianista Max Paparella(myspace/maxgroove) e come chitarrista turnista.
