I lived in Connecticut for all my life. Im the first generation of descendents of Jamaican Immigrants. I spent the first few years of my life living in the city, it was fun because my family members would always throw parties. Then by the time I was going into the third grade I moved to the suburbs, which wasn't as fun. Actually it is quiet boring. By that time My parents were separated, so I lived with my mother. I lacked the fatherly teachings for a while until I got older.The reason why I made my page like this is to show where I am at in my life right now. As you all can see it is an African centered page and most people my age wouldn't have a page like this. I started studying the mystery or my-story of who I am and where I came from four years ago. My-story or the mystery was introduced to me by my father but not thoroughly. So as I started studying my story thoroughly which is called Nuwaubu, (right knowledge and overstanding) I grown to love it. I was tired of practicing a religion (christianity) that was pushed on my people by their slave masters, as much as my people don't want to admit it, it is a fact. I couldn't overstand how my people can put all their souls and faith into religion that was forced on them by people who will forever hate them, envy them, and will destroy them when they get the chance. How could I trust it if it was pushed on us during a time that the oppressor was trying to control us and is still trying to do so today. I didn't want to worship the caucasian images that is saw in black churches. If the oldest bones (of humans) on the planet on were found in Africa (which are millions of years old), it would be more appropiate and SANE to worship the image of my African, Nubian, Nuwaupian ancestors rather than the image of a race of people that have been on this planet for only 6,000 years.The culture that I study and try to live (Nuwaupu) emphasizes on facts and nothing else. We don't live on religious terms because religion breeds belief and ignorance. DON'T MISTAKE ME FOR AN ATHEIST BECAUSE ATHEISM LIVES ON BELIEF AND IS A RELIGION THAT IS THE ROOT OF SATANISM. My culture also interperates all religion and where they come from, and we they are not authentic today. Through my culture I study the ancient egiptian mysteries. I also study how to become intune with the planet earth spiritually which is really important in these days and times. Other then what I do, I appear as just an everyday person that you see on the streets, SO DON'T COME ON THIS PAGE AND START LABELING ME AND MY FRIENDS WITH DISRESPECTFUL AND INACCURATE TITLES.-Peace and Love.
