About Me

These days I make my home just north of Nashville with my wife Ann and my dog Jock -- a Scottish terrier who growls and cusses too much, but doesn't mean half of it. My fiction appears from time to time in literary and genre publications.

My Interests

Reading, writing, and gigantic bacon cheeseburgers.

I'd like to meet:

Any joker who thinks for a minute they can eat more than I can.

Music:

My wife's laughter, Celtic rock, Vivaldi, Indie folk, polka, pirate, mountain, and my namesake, naturally, the Talking Heads.

Movies:

Flicks that leave me ready to pick up a sword and drive the English from our lands. (They'll never take our popcorn!)

Television:

Books:

From the silly to the sublime - of course it's nice to find a writer who manages both.

Heroes:

Best enjoyed with chips and a slice of pickle.
