______Lena is a leading light of the E95 music club, which is hosted by the Our Generation youth centre in Chernihiv (pronounced Chernigov), northern Ukraine. She performs regularly at events organised by the combined clubs at the Centre, which use music and theatre to get vital messages across about key social issues.The main focus is on drug abuse and the HIV/AIDS pandemic among the region's youth; e.g. challenging hostile public attitudes towards people with the virus.The E95 Club was founded by music promoter Nic (Ting) Briscoe; part of a strong British connection with the Centre.Lena and her band hope to play at Bourne Free in Bournemouth (the town's esteemed annual gay pride event) and other venues in the area, in July 2007...
