While many South Floridians know me as 99.9 Kiss Country's Chocolate Cowboy Jack Barnes, many more of you, Worldwide, know me as Singer/Songwriter Jack Barnes. I assure you, even though I own the hat and wear the boots, what I sing and play is far from Country. I'm a rocker from way back. Some of you may even remember my Punk/Metal days.
New World Order, Dead End Boys, ESP, and StrangeDayz are long gone but I carry on.
I have my own voice. And though it is inspired by Dave Matthews Band and Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals it is heavily influenced by Sting and the Police, Miles Davis and Jimi Hendrix. Oh and don't forget The Beatles. I Love, The Beatles.
The mind, once stretched by an idea, can never regain it's original proportions. So chew on this; CHANGING THE WORLD, FOR THE BETTER, ONE SONG AT A TIME. That is my goal, passed on to me by John Lennon, Bob Marley, Richie Havens and others.

Jack Barnes Graduated from Berklee College of Music in 1991, and toured as the Frontman of New World Order before joining the U. S. Marine Corps in 1992. Jack Barnes served as an engine mechanic and a FA-18 specialist until transitioning to the U. S. Coast Guard in 1999.
Stationed in Cape May, New Jersey Jack Barnes founded StrangeDayz with guitarist Chris Grey. But the ensemble was short lived and Jack Barnes transferred to Miami Florida, where he currently resides in 2003.
