Stick Figure

let that sweet reggae music play

About Me

Possessing a unique style of music that combines a creative blend of upbeat roots reggae with the reverberating echoes of dub, comes a man with no limit for his musical abilities. Stick Figure's music is written, recorded, and produced by Scott Woodruff, a young man from Duxbury, MA. Scott became fascinated with the art of music at an early age when he began playing the drums. Eventually, his passion for music grew and over time he acquired the skills to play the guitar, bass, and the keyboard. With the purchase of a quality 16-track recorder, Scott found the means to combine his talents for these different instruments and began writing songs on his own.
All of Stick Figure's songs are made by recording each instrument separately, then layering several tracks on top of one another in unison. Seeing that Scott plays all the instruments and produces all the songs himself, Stick Figure is not a band , but rather a single artist combining his musical talents for each instrument to produce the songs that make up his albums.

The long awaited 'Sound of my Addiction' album is now available for purchase. The album contains 15 original studio tracks. Visit the Stick Figure website to preview all of the tracks on the album. www.stickfiguremusic.com

I am currently in the process of recording my second album. I write and record all my songs one at a time, solely focusing on that one song until it's done, then I start another. Sometimes it takes me a few hours to finish a song, sometimes it takes me a few weeks...It all depends. I am hoping to release it by the end of this summer. If you have any questions about how the music is written or recorded, feel free to hit me up.
