i was selected as a finalist in Sunsilk shampoo's "Life Cant Wait" contest! i wrote about our dog rescue, and how i felt the need to save one dog...and how that lead to us save so many more!!
the 25 finalists and their companions were all sent to nyc, where they interviewed us on camera, discussing our stories- i got to wear my own designs (clothing) too, which was exciting...now the videos are edited and live at:

and we need you to vote!!! one vote per person...and on monday night (4/28), the clips will be broadcast on the CW network (formerly WB) during Gossip Girl at 8pm eastern!!!
the winner, will go on to film a real, full length commerical for Sunsilk (to air on tv this summer!!!)- and will become the "girl next door" spokesperson!
i go on and on about the dogs to everyone i talk to- this is a great chance to tell all of north america about them! hopefully this will inspire others to not only go foster/ adopt an animal in need- but to pursue other dreams and ideas, that can also help make the world a little better! after all, "life can't wait"!!!
