As a singer-songwriter, Nyjon's vision is to unite versatility and broad appeal with a potent message and delivery. Influenced by Stevie Wonder, David Gates, Kenny Lattimore, Conner Reeves and Take 6 and with a 4-octave range to draw upon, Nyjon has synthesised his own style that is at once distinctive and memorable. Focusing on R&B, Soul and Smooth Jazz, Nyjon can create a captivating or vivacious melody. Listening to his music it is clear to hear where Nylon’s passion lies, in life and love. This shines through in his day-to-day work as well as his musicality. He has had a productive co-writing relationship with writer-producer Gareth Young (formerly of Windswept Publishing) who has worked with the All Saints, Sugarbabes and Blue. He is also adept at performing and reworking songs by other artists, most recently producing a heart-rending version of George Harrison's classic "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" with a totally unexpected and unique sound.
