PJAY is the Founder and Chief Designer of BKNYC™ Graphic Design & Screen Print company, as well as, the BORN KINGS™ apparel brand. This self-taught artist was born in Brooklyn and bred in the East New York section during the 70's and 80's, which groomed him in it's Graffiti and street-dance culture. With influences from the late Dondi White and Vaughn Bodé to Boris Valléjo and Frank Frazetta, PJAY remains true to what has kept him inspired since his youth. In his spare time he also dances and teaches "Brooklyn Rock" AKA "Uprock": A 60's-70's NY street-dance, which he helps preserve along with the United Brooklyn Rockers. Today you can witness all these qualities which are so evident throughout his work. More importantly, as a husband and father of three, he's a hardworking but passionate individual who's principles mean more to him than any money or success.
