Hello im Sonzie 38 years old and feelin it ive been a writer since the early eighties mostly illegal stuff a bit of legal stuff too and flyers for night clubs,d.j.s and pirate radio stations.I started by taggin my nickname followed by 81 in 1981 believe or not you know how kid's do write your name on toilet walls and benches and shit at the time it was'nt anything to do with what was goin on in new york but then (and now ive been nagged to tell the true story of how i became a graffiti artist) a friend of mine had been doing graff for a short while because he had seen a cliff peice on a Sugar Hill record cover so he say's im not so shaw if that record came out before style warz or not but anyway he decided to make me his apprentice i tagged "s" for SONZ and he tagged "z" for ZARDOZ and I suppose style warz came a short while after that and if anybody can remember the HULLY tagz give me a shout.Seeing Style Warz changed a lot of thingz of course as it did for many in England so they say (other so called old skool artists)I also got into break dancing an was a part of a crew called da Allrounderz crew which took me and da boyz all over Derbyshire at da time havin battlez an doin showz we also met up with and danced with da shades crew quite a few timez and I still see memberz and am still friendz with some of those guyz ha memorys eh THOSE WERE DA DAYZ but hey nothin lasts for ever right.And i must say the rock steady crew paid a major part with gettin me into breakin R.I.P.
