You have reached OGRE STUDIOS and producer/engineer (and everything else under the sun) KORY "theogre" BURK. Kory has had a long, deep love and respect for music, how it has been made and recorded. Kory has studied music and how it has been engineered, new and old, to no end. Music and how it was recorded has been a part of Kory's life since a very young age and thanks to his older brother's/sister, Kory has had a great appreciation of music. At the age of 13, when he wrote his first song, he actually recorded it on his brother's tape deck too. At this time he also started playing in local bands and after being in many bands, Kory then went to school for engineering/production. After studying hard, soaking up all the school had to offer, Kory was at the top of his class. Kory decided to open a modest recording studio that would be a relaxed place for musicians to create magic. Ogre Studios was born. From that modest recording studio to a converted church as the studio and now to Ogre studios' modern facility in the heart of studio row on 2nd avenue in Vancouver. To date, Kory has recorded hundreds and hundreds of artists, written and recorded thousands of his own songs. Ogre studios and Kory Burk have been helping musicians from around the world for over 11 years! Kory is committed to making the highest quality records that are timeless yet modern sounding. Ogre studios is well stocked with vintage and comtempary gear, a 25ft ceiling live room, amp rooms and a few vocal isolation rooms that many have called home. Come and hear the difference!
