Alf Häggkvist trio is a band that has played together for many years.
The Band has recorded 2 CD..s.
The First CD, "Beutiful High Coast", was released by an Italian Label, "ARV Sez Musica" in 2001.
The Second CD, "Crystals", was released in 2004, on the label "Liphone Records" in Uddevalla, Sweden.
The music that the trio plays is mostly written by Alf. The music has a nordical touch, with a lot of influences from freely music, classical music and standardtunes. But mostly the music is inspired by what happens in life, with the family and so on.

Alf Häggkvist – piano.
He is from the north of Sweden currently living in Ekerö, Stockholm since 1992. He has played with many great swedish jazz artists.
He compose most of the music and is the leader of the group.

Filip Augustson – bass
Filip is a great bassplayer, one of the most well established in Sweden.
Filip has played in the trio for many years. He is also the bandleader of an own quartet and is represented on many records in Sweden.
Krister Häggkvist – Drums
Krister has also played in the trio for many years. He has very keen ears that gives the trio a special sound.
