"If I had to describe my experience in this town in one word, it would be 'weird'.
Lois was an army brat, the daughter of Sam and (assuredly, though never stated) Ella Lane. She spent her formative years following her career military father around the world. Her mother died when Lois and her younger sister, Lucy were both very young; Lois was six at the time. Later, Sam sent Lucy to boarding school, while Lois traveled around with him during her youth.
Since staying with the Kents for most of what should have been her freshman year of college, 2004-2005, Lois has grown quite close to the Kents, even seeing Martha Kent as the mother she never had. Her relationship with Clark is full of teasing that sometimes gets the best of them; however, they also look after each other and offer the each other advice.Article taken from Smallville.wikia.comThe Daily Planet Forum I now have a forum to where all the readers of the Daily Planet can post their thoughts on things within the Smallville world.. It is still under construction but I would love to have you join! Click here to join The Daily Planet forum..Rosenbaum to leave Smallville A joint statement from Smallville's new quartet if show runners, the CW and Warner Bros. Television pays proper respects to Michael Rosenbaum, who will NOT be returning next season as a series regular. "It has been an honor and a pleasure working with Michael. He is one of the best actors on television and has never failed to bring a new layer to the character of Lex Luthor in every episode," says the missive, "While... we won’t have the pleasure of working with him on a weekly basis this fall, we like to think that we haven’t seen the last of Lex Luthor. Stay tuned."
The Smallville bosses go on to tease about the dawn of a new breed of villainy for the eighth season, including the arrival of the apocalyptic Doomsday, "the legendary, unstoppable destroyer" who will present Clark with "his ultimate challenge." (Doomsday, of course, is the only character in the DC Comics universe to have killed Superman.)
Also to be cast for S8 is a female villain who "will be familiar to many fans and will set her sights on Clark in ways Lex never could. Intelligent, brilliantly manipulative, and dangerously sinister, [she] has one more weapon in her arsenal: Her mutual attraction with Clark may prove to be as deadly as kryptonite."

They plan to sell their creations as well as other artists creations. Here is a direct quote from Buddy TV: "Smallville co-stars Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk may spend a lot of time fighting freaks on screen, but in real life they're more concerned with helping out struggling artists. The two lovely ladies have started a new online store called Juicy Peach, where they plan to sell their own artistic creations as well as those created by fans. Instead of collecting the profits for themselves, they'll turn any money earned into $1000 grants, which they will then send out to struggling artists around the country. Their goal is to encourage creative expression and help fellow artists find their way to success". To read the entire article click here .
