Projekt Feenix are, Redeye-Jinx a.k.a. Muna, Hekima, Dj Severe, SI2, Young Salem, Fast T Affiliates : Mau Management: David Okwesia(Full Flava Ent.) In late 2005, the hip-hop scene in Hull was changing. A lot of producers, emcees and hip-hop crews were springing up. Among them, 6 different individuals with a similarly burning desire and passion for hip-hop became known to each other through local hip-hop events and festivals (organised by dj Redlocz). After appreciating each other’s performances through solo efforts, the inevitable happened; the Projekt Feenix was born. 4 months later, babyjinx became the first from the strong hold to release an album, “untitled†which was a major hit on the local scene. Redeye’s “Representin’ From Hull†another landmark album that was well received locally immediately followed this. By mid 2006 the Projekt Feenix had gained momentum and returned to bless the scene with Hekima’s “Hekima Zangu†the 3rd solo set from the team. To date, Feenix have toured in York, Leeds, London.Projekt Feenix are currently in the studio recording their debut “Kidnap Rapâ€, a thunderous double LP album due out soon this year. Also in the studio is dj severe and Young Salem who are recording their solo debuts. Full Flava Entertainment now manages the group, who have recently finished shooting the video for the 1st single, out soon.
