Samantha Lockwood is an actress, and daughter of veteran actors. Her father, Gary Lockwood, best known for starring in countless television shows and films. Her mother is actress turned business mogul Denise DuBarry-Hay.A true renaissance woman because in addition to acting Samantha is also a fine art painter, Bikram Yogini, as well an inventor, she created earrings and necklaces that hold water and live flowers called Fleurings. She was born April 28, 1982 and raised in Malibu, California. She moved to La Quinta California, for high school at Palm Valley School and later attended UC Santa Cruz. She's studied acting with prominent coaches but claims her parents, schooling and traveling have been her best teachers. "Learning to stay true to yourself through all of life's experiences is something no one can teach you, you have to just know what you feel is true inside" is the slogan Sam lives by. She studied AP art under the tutelage of Artist Jack Flannigan the guidance of her mentor famous Japanese artist Muramasa Kudo.
Lockwood recently starred in "That Guy" - a short film with actor Peter Facinelli, and directed by Peter Winther. The short has been an Official Selection of the Newport Beach Film International Short Festival where it premiered in 2007, and the Palm Springs International Short Film Festival where it made headlines in the Desert Sun.
A natural beauty, Lockwood has proven to be a particular favorite with the media and has been featured in the internationally popular magazine Maxim and noted as "one of the most promising young actresses to keep an eye on" from her featured part in Lords of Dogtown.
