Welcome to the Palm Springs Women in Film & Television myspace presence. We are a group of people who are dedicated to the support, fulfillment and furthering of filmmaking and tv careers.There are many chapters worldwide of Women in Film (WIF) which was originally founded in Los Angeles. Female and male directors, producers, writers, and actors benefit highly from this organization all around the world. We're here to support positivity, emotional wisdom and productiveness in the film community in order to benefit the world as a whole. We work together and help to lift each other up. That is what Women in Film is all about.Our branch is located in the Palm Springs area, where we carry out informative Panels and Networking Luncheons with leaders in the Film and TV community who come to speak and share their knowledge.We encourage anyone interested in joining women in film to find the chapter nearest to you, and/or become a member of our chapter. You can belong to more than one chapter! Most chapters will have a monthly schedule you can view online ...or somehow. Pick a date, RSVP and join a lunch or a workshop for small fee to reap all the benefits.
