About Me

Well what is there to say about myself. My full name is Carrie Forbes soon to Carrie Chisholm (weird). I'm fastly approaching thirty and live near Glasgow with my boyfriend Alan (Chiz) Chisholm and our vampire cat Toto. I am constantly broke so never do anything very exciting. I tend to moan a lot about everything but specifically my work, which is in a bank. I have a desire to write or even work behind the scenes in theatre but the older I get, the less likely this is to happen.I love movies, though I've not really been a regular cinema over the past few years or so... basically I prefer 20th Century cinema from the 1920's to the mid 1990's. I watch most genres except Westerns, (I can't watch anything with John Wayne... I know he's a massive Movie Icon but there you are) and a lot of post- eighties action movies!

My Interests

MySpace CountdownsWell I love cinema. I especially like anything with Peter Sellers, Jack Lemmon, Dwight Frye, Peter Lorre, William Holden. I like most genres I mean I can happily watch a really soppy musical but also watch a war film then a cheesy horror!I also like stand-up comedy. I attempted stand-up a few years ago but was not very good at it, far too nerve wracking plus I wasn't that funny.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anyone that his as grumpy or even grumpier than I am or cinema and comedy fans./a

Music:

When it comes to music I'm completely hopeless. I tend to like cheesy stuff that I can sing a long to. I like music and fashion from the 1960's I guess.

Movies:

Am I the only female that hates "Sex and the City"?

Whilst sitting at work, the other morning I had to listen to the tedious discourse of other women at work as they discussed their mutual enjoyment of the recently released Sex and the City movie. I st...

Two and a half hours I want back!

Yesterday I booked tickets to see the latest installment of the Indiana Jones series and allowed myself to get slightly excited which is always unadvisable because I am always inevitably disappointed....
