I'm a Wisconsin native who has found a new home on the East Coast. Right after high school I went to college, where I got my BS in Biology and minored in Russian. Wanting to continue my language studies, I joined the Navy and was sent to further training as a Russian linguist. I spent four wonderful years serving in the Navy before deciding that I wanted to settle down in one place. I moved to New England, and I have been a member of the Army National Guard for several years, and I have to say that I am very proud the people I serve with and of our mission. I belong to a medical unit where we have assisted thousands of people in getting care where it would otherwise be unavailable.I love science fiction, video games, and spending time with my wonderful hubby, Leo. Leo takes everything normal in this world and makes it amazing.I have a great fondness for the late Peter Lorre, to whom I have a YouTube page mostly dedicated. I've also met some wonderful people through Mr. Lorre's proxy.I love British comedy and drama. I also love psychological horror.I love tea with skim milk & honey, orange coffee, and strawberry milk. Mexican is my favorite type of food, followed by Greek and Indian in VERY close seconds.I love to run while listening to my mp3 player. I have an odd mix of hip hop, 80's hits, foreign music and folk on it.I love hot bubble baths and thunderstorms. I love the woods and camping. I love having my back scratched. I love the feeling of my feet squishing into mud. :DAnd I love love love my family. Mom, dad, grandma, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc...we're scattered, but we're tight.And even growing up in an Athiest household, I believe in God and I am ever grateful and what a gorgeous world we live in. Thanks, Big Guy.And last but not least, I love my geriatric kitty, Anna. May your fluffy head always find comfort in your fleece, and may your supper dish always be full of good stuff to eat.
