Chris Klaar:
In 2005 the classically trained singer moved back to her native town Berlin for musical engagements. She was raised in Baden-Württemberg with many years of singing- and flute lessons, taking part in several choirs and orchestras, playing leading roles in musicals+stage performances and enjoying different bands and chamber music groups.
From 1994 to 2005 Heidelberg became her cherished campus-city, when she studied pedagogics and music-science there.
During the studies and her work at the university with medical psychology and musictherapy-groups she established herself as a soloist and songwriter for studios with chillout music productions. Also she was a member of the a cappella worldmusic group Anaconga, a few percussion ensembles, the Darmstädter Konzertchor and learned oriental dance for five years.
As a singer and flutist she was involved in many cd- and dvd-releases e.g. for SONY: barlounge classics dvd, UCMG: pure atmosphere, and she is a member of Cataldo, MoDrive and Nyima and worked together with The Sushi Club, Tomio Tremmel, Naoki Kenji, Stefan Fornaro, Tillmann Uhrmacher, Frank Künne, Normen Flaskamp ... for radio, tv and live-raves.
Having passed the doctor..s degree in health-science and teaching at the Frankfurt university she always pushed her musical career as a singer and vocal-coach. Her styles include classical and early music, worldmusic, soul, jazz, pop, house and dancefloor, chillout, musicals and filmmusic.
Since living in Berlin she works as a singer and writer for barlounge productions and as a teacher for voice and rhythm, she sings concerts as a Soprano,
founded the concert Duo Alado (voice and guitar) with Dr. Felix Mundt and is a passionate member of Amity Voices.
