Biography
I'm Commander Qeytok, I have been stationed at many Terran outposts and embassies over the years, this means I have got used to Humans, Vulcans and alike.

My family life was not that of the typical warrior families, my Father being an engineer specialising in propulsions and field generators, and my Mother being a teacher/part time diplomat ment although I studied the arts of the warrior I also studied engineering and cultural aspects of Klingon and alien life. This upbringing lead to my early posting helping the empire as technical liasion within the klingon embassy on Kronos.

After serving a few terms on Kronos the cultural side of abasadorial duties drew on my curiosity leading me to serve my duties in klingon ebassys based on alien planets. Which eventually lead me to Earth.

After serving as Engineer/Diplomat to many embassies and outposts this led to me interacting with many Federation engineers, and getting to know their systems quite well. There are many systems on a Federation starship that would be superfluous on a Klingon vessel making there a lot more work to be done,but now my responsibilities are purely engineering and little to no diplomacy, I enjoy the challenge of keeping my ship running efficiently and ready for battle.

Lt Cmdr Qeytok is not like most Klingons, he's learnt to openly embrace Federation crew, his time as a diplomat gave him the chance to see the Federation as it really is and not the preconceptions that the Klingons generally hold. He has even let himself be comfortable, not stripping his quarters bare like many Klingons serving aboard Rapid Response Fleet vessels have.

Also since his appointment to a Starfleet vessel he has taken to wearing a Starfleet uniform a lot of the time. He says that Federation ships jefferies tubes and Klingon battle armour don't mix well, although if he knows he's going into battle or on away missions he will normally revert to the full Klingon battle dress that most Klingons in the Fleet wear for duty. It's my recommendation that he is finely suited to the role of Chief Engineer on the USS Endeavour. (Plus he showed me a great Klingon chocolate dessert)
