Apunkalypse Now

Where to start a biography of Apunkalypse Now is a tricky thing to do but here goes... The band is put together from Punk, Skin and Metal influenced musicians from Thanet in the south east of Kent and people seem to know where we come from because whenever we talk to people they say "Kent", or at least i think that's what they're saying! Anyway the bands members are... Nick Bigginton on Vocals, Nathan "One Take" Wood on Guitar, "Studio" Tony Beer on Guitar, Ian "12 takes" Bligh on Bass and Gary "I've got the loudest snare ever" on Drums. Everyone has played in various local bands, far too many to mention. So finally after getting together to talk about doing something we came up with this but there was a problem that faces all Thanet bands which is difficult to overcome, finding a good and reliable drummer. Although the demo has a drum machine on it we were incredibly lucky to secure the services of Pen who is probably one of the best drummers in the area. Although he hasn't commited full time to the band we all hope he stays on for the ride. So thanks to everyone for their support and a special thanks to Roi, JJ, Beef, Chris and Chunky who fills in on guitar occasionally. Cheers! Apunkalypse Now
