The Story So Far:
Old mates Lee & Stuart spent a couple of years knocking round the dingy practice rooms of Hounslow before hooking up with a scooterist drummer and a borderline alcoholic, northern bass player. John and Spen brought a loose sense of rhythm to the riffs that had evolved from the different angles Lee and Stuart approached punk from, Lee coming from an Oi! background and Stuart growing up on the R'n'R swagger of The NY Dolls & The Stooges......
Early gigs invariably broke down in incompetent / booze - ridden shambles, but after playing a few gigs on The Dead Pets UK tour and support slots with a few big names, with every trip out in their infamous, flame painted van, The VD's were slowly getting tighter and tighter...
After early morning slots at both Punk Aid and Wasted 2004, we pooled our cash, set up camp in J Studios and recorded double the songs expected in a four day blitz of Red Stripe and Red Bull, resulting in debut album "Heads Held High". From opener "Anti-Everything" to the 3 chord mayhem of closer "Under The Thumb" it's 12 tracks of their trademark Punk Rock 'N' Roll, has been selling slowly but surely ever since.
John pissed off to Australia in March 2006, the drumstool being filled by Mark, formerly of Polish oi! band "Zbeer" (translates as Hooligan!). He lasted a year before knocking it on the head due towork n bird commitments.... Feltham legend Giggsy stepped up and was blooded in Sept 07... Album number 2's getting closer & closer.....watch this space!
